Recycle For Sight

Just this last month we collected nearly 3,000 pairs of spectacles — an incredible achievement for our community! One of our key collection points is at Specsavers, who have been tremendous supporters across Huddersfield, Halifax and Brighouse. Their continued help makes a real difference to our collection efforts.

Once gathered, the spectacles are sorted, graded, cleaned and packed before being shipped to developing countries. There they are distributed by our partner charities and local health teams, giving the priceless gift of sight to people who otherwise could not afford glasses. Every single pair you donate helps someone read, work, learn and enjoy life.

We’re hugely grateful to everyone who has donated so far. Please keep an eye out in your area for one of our collection points and consider dropping off any unwanted spectacles you have. Your small act can change someone’s world.
